Lasting Power of Attorney – OPG fee Refund

Following on from the reduction in the Office of the Public Guardian fee for registration of an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA) or Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) from £110 to £82 last year they are now offering partial refunds to those who registered EPAs and LPAs from 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2017.

You can claim your partial refund on their website by clicking here or by calling them directly on 0300 456 0300 (textphone 0115 934 2778)

The donor or attorney may apply for the refund but such must be made into an account in the donor’s name.
