New appointment strengthens Private Client department

Ellis Jones Solicitors has strengthened its Private Client department with the appointment of chartered legal executive Diane Vincent.

Diane, who specialises in all areas of elderly client work, joins Ellis Jones from another legal practice where she worked for more than 16 years.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, Diane can assist with Court of Protection Deputyship applications, Lasting Powers of Attorney for property and financial affairs and health and welfare, and registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney.

She is also highly experienced in handling the general management of property and financial affairs, arranging care at home and care funding and preparing Wills and Advance Directives (Living Wills).

Diane said: “I am very approachable and supportive in all areas of elderly client work. I understand the distress that a diagnosis of dementia can be to the family and will endeavour to offer support and advice in a compassionate manner.”

She added: “No matter how busy I am, I always try to make time to offer my reassurance and support to clients who are concerned in any way in connection with elderly client issues. I pride myself that I have a friendly, empathetic and common-sense approach, particularly in dealing with sensitive issues.”

Ellis Jones’ Partner Lauren Day, who also heads up the Private Client department, said: “Diane’s experience will be a huge asset as we look to expand the elderly client area of the firm.”
