Inquests during Coronavirus
It is a sad fact of life that whilst the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to affect this country and indeed the world, there may be tragic circumstances in which we, our families and our friends may lose someone that we know or care about. These are likely to be difficult times where we all are going to need all the help that we can get to struggle through and emerge from lockdown afterwards.
Sadly, should there be losses of life, the Coroner is potentially going to have to become involved whereby a Post Mortem and an Inquest may be ordered, and the Coroner will have to pursue duties as in every other case.
Facing such enquiries is difficult and we understand just how taxing this may be without a step to step guide to make things easier.
With the rapidly changing situation regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), we would like to reassure you that we are still fully operational and able to provide all our legal services remotely to support you through these difficult times. Our experts are here to help and can provide our normal level of service online, via email, over the phone or via video conferencing.
