What is a commercial breach of lease?
Commercial units such as an office, retail store, or industrial space, are often governed by a commercial lease. This lease is essentially a contract between the landlord and tenant for renting the commercial property and sets out obligations (leasehold covenants) that each party has to abide by.
If either party fails to comply with the terms of the lease, then a breach of lease arises and the party may elect to take legal action.
