Domestic Abuse Support Services
If you believe that you are a victim of domestic violence or at risk of becoming a victim, there are several support services available to help you.
See below the details of some of the services available:
Domestic abuse support services in Dorset:
- Dorset Police – if it is not an emergency, you can call 101 for support and advice.
- Refuge and other domestic abuse support services in Bournemouth and Poole –01202 710777 / abusesupport@bcha.org.uk
- Paragon (Dorset team) counselling – freephone 0800 032 5204
Domestic abuse support services in London:
- Metropolitan police (details for local support services) – Support organisations for victims of domestic violence | Metropolitan Police. As above, call the police on 101 for support and advice if it is not an emergency.
- Hestia (support for victims of domestic abuse in London and the south east) – Refuge Referral Line (free) 0808 169 9975, email refuge.space@hestia.org

If you are concerned about your children being exposed to and/or living with domestic violence, you can find advice and guidance on the CAFCASS website.
