Fantastic Legal 500 Result For Ellis Jones

We at Ellis Jones Solicitors are proud to have again been recognised by The Legal 500 (UK 2017) in several areas across the firm

The Legal 500 is the largest and most in depth survey of the UK legal market. Their aim is to recommend excellent legal service by understanding firms and their client’s experiences – a process they have undertaken since 1988.

This year we have been recommended across; Family, Employment Law, Corporate, Commercial Litigation and Contentious Trusts & Probate. Furthermore, many of our Partners, Associates and Solicitors have been individually recommended for their outstanding work.

Our Family department ranks ‘tier 2’ and have been described as an “excellent firm” which is “first rate in Bournemouth and the surrounding area”. Deborah Leask and Sean McNally, who together head up the department, have been recognised for their extensive understanding in the area. We are also pleased to announce that Senior Associate Katie Taft was described as “one to watch” as she was dubbed a next generation lawyer. Associate Ian Butterworth was also recommended for his work on matrimonial finance and cohabitee disputes.

Commercial Litigation was also ranked ‘tier 2’ for providing a “City performance at regional rates”. Many of our experts were recommended for this department including; Paul Kanolik, Luke Baldwin, Victoria Riddleston and Carl Arreghini. Partners Lauren Day and William Fox Bregman, who head up Dispute Resolution and Banking & Finance Litigation departments respectively, were both recommended once again – with Lauren being described as “highly competent and pragmatic” and William being recognised as having “a wealth of experience”.

Victoria Riddleston was also recommended for her work in Contentious Trusts & Probate, according to The Legal 500 she is noted as being “an excellent, clear thinking litigator whose advice to clients is thorough but readily intelligible”.
