Ellis Jones Shortlisted for Solent Deals Awards 2023
The finalists have been announced for the 2023 Solent Deals Awards, and we are thrilled to confirm that Ellis Jones has been shortlisted for the Mid-Range Deal category.
The Solent Deals Awards is one of the major corporate finance events of the year and brings together an array of experts such as corporate finance advisers, lawyers, bankers and many more who are contributing the most to deals in the Solent and South Coast region.
We are very proud to be shortlisted for the Mid-Range Deal category as we were up against a high calibre of entries including dealmakers and other law firms. Our entry was for Neil Cook’s deal ‘LuxuryCare acquisition of Kingsman House’.
The firm advised long standing client LuxuryCare Group on its purchase of the 75-bed Kingsman House out of receivership. The total value of the funding package reached £18.9m with refinancing as part of an innovative solution to allow the deal to complete and fund group wide investment.
Partners Neil Cook and Wayne Spolander from our Business Services department are judges for ‘Corporate Finance Advisor of the Year’ and ‘Non-Bank Lender of the Year’ awards. Ellis Jones are also supporting the event by sponsoring both of these awards categories.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 23rd March at the Hilton Ageas Bowl in Southampton hosted by television presenter, Mark Durden-Smith.
