Disciplinary & Criminal Matters

Our Head of Sports Law, David McWilliam, specialises in disciplinary matters in all sports.  He currently sits as:-

• FA Serious Case Panel Member
• FA General Appeals Panel Member
• Dorset FA Independent Disciplinary Panel Member

He can advise athletes on the disciplinary process in all sports and represent them at disciplinary hearings ensuring that they get a fair hearing, that all relevant evidence is considered and the most appropriate sanction is applied.

Our criminal department have acted for a number of sporting people covering a wide range of criminal issues such as:-

• Driving offences
• Assault & Public Order
• Drugs/anti-doping
